City Mill’s IT Analyst provides support in analyzing company IT equipment and applications. This position ensures the IT infrastructure is effective and operating efficiently while understanding business and technology needs in order to provide effective support to all end users.


  • Gain and maintain through knowledge of all applications which will allow timely, accurate and through response to user requests.
  • Provide support for Windows based platforms and applications.
  • Provide user based support to end users (particularly to stores) for POS and back office devices – PC, office equipment, servers, network and applications.
  • Assist with installation of system software and applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, working closely with management and consultants to assess options and solutions to quickly resolve problems reducing down time.
  • Assist in the set up and training of new users, ensuring the proper applications and security access is assigned.
  • Field incoming help requests from end users in a courteous manner, and build rapport and elicit problem details from end users.
  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
  • Properly manage and maintain back office and operational IT equipment ensuring equipment is accounted for and in good condition.
  • Work closely with management to ensure the safety and security of company data
  • Provide recommendations which will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT infrastructure and,
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
One year computer hardware and software installation and troubleshooting experience.


  • Strong technical background in computer support and ability to resolve issues.
  • Open style of communication with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical people.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to monitor and follow through.
  • Critical thinking ability with strong problem solving capacity.
  • Ability to work well in a team or individually.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Experience with desktop applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Epicor Eagle software is a plus.
